Highlights of the promotional activities for 2005
For 2005, S.D.M. has established as its main goals the international promotion of the International Business Centre of Madeira (IBCM), the strengthening of its position in the traditional markets and the exploration of new ones.
Maintaining the quality of its promotional events, S.D.M. will reinforce the relationship with the investors in different markets through activities towards the big consulting firms, lawyers and multipliers.
The first initiative of the year outside Portugal will take place in Zurich, on the 22nd of February. It will be a further opportunity to present the International Business Centre and the wide range of solutions that it can present to enhance the efficiency and performance of various forms of investment.
As far as the promotional calendar is concerned, it is important to highlight the business mission that will take place in the United States of America in order to promote the IBC as a global solution to investors. The main goal is to create a growing interest and visibility of the IBC of Madeira and demonstrate the comparative advantages in relation to other European free trade zones.
In France, S.D.M. will be in Nice to present the IBCM in a seminar and in Marseille to carry out another presentation covering the International Shipping Register of Madeira (MAR). Considering the importance of the German economy in the European Union S.D.M. will promote a seminar in Frankfurt.
