For the first time, Madeira has been chooses to hold an international conference regarding shipping registers, an event that will be organized by Neil Stewart & Associates, a well-known company specialized in the preparation of international conferences.

Representatives from the IMO and the MOU of Paris, European and non-European shipowners, and entities related do the sector in general will be present in Madeira.

During the conference, S.D.M. will have the opportunity to present the International Shipping Register of Madeira (MAR) and its most recent developments. By the way, it is important to stress that MAR is one of the areas of activity of the International Business Centre of Madeira, which is showing a constant growth of activity. In fact, the legal and regulatory measures approved in the last two years are contributing to attract international shipowners and new markets.
