The Diario de Noticias of Madeira, the most important local newspaper, will publish every other week the profile of companies which operate in the ambit of the International Business of Madeira, namely those related to the services and industrial sectors. This original partnership established between this local newspaper and S.D.M. is a means to increase the information about the IBC of Madeira, its different activities and markets, and to present some of the companies which operate internationally through this business centre. The main goal is to provide the newspaper’s readers with an opportunity to know better the international activities, which take place in Madeira due to the presence of international companies, and how these activities are part of the regional economy and how they interact with it. Among other issues, this project will also cover aspects related with various operational activities of the IBC of Madeira companies, namely the reasons which led to the decision to operate in Madeira, the target markets of its operation, the structure of the company and the number of jobs created. Through the Diario de Noticias of Madeira, the locals will have the chance to witness how the entities licensed in the IBC of Madeira contribute to the internationalization of Madeira.
